Welcome SFTS Alumni
God is doing amazing things through the ministries of San Francisco Theological Seminary graduates.
Consider that Bruce Reyes-Chow (M.Div. ’95) is the moderator of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and serves as pastor of Mission Bay Church in San Francisco. Sharon Stanley (M.Div. ’89) is executive director of Fresno International Refugee Ministries, reaching out to Hmong immigrants. Patrick Bailey (DASD ’05) just wrapped up a 20-year career in the army, 16 of which he served as a chaplain in places such as Korea, Kosovo and Iraq.
SFTS has begun to lift up our own in two new ways:
The SFTS Web site now posts feature stories about our graduates’ ministries in our new Alumni Profiles section. SFTS is currently accepting submissions for this new section on our Web site, so feel free to send us your story, whether it has appeared in your Presbytery newsletter, church bulletin or local newspaper. Please send all materials, including a high-resolution photo, to hwoolard@sfts.edu.

We also have a new advertising campaign that features SFTS graduates in ads that are now running in Presbyterian Outlook, Presbyterians Today, Sojourners and Christian Century magazines. The ads not only call attention to the great work SFTS alumni are involved in, but also reflect what the graduates learned from their experiences on our campuses.
SFTS is always cultivating new and creative ways to serve our alumni/ae community. Please contact me or the Alumni Council anytime about anything that is relevant to the precious lifelong relationship that our God has established between you and your seminary. We implore you to share with us what God is doing in your life.
