A very rural church in the southernmost area of Humboldt County, The Community Presbyterian Church has an older congregation. The well-kept buildings are offered to the local schools for their concerts and other events, and the food pantry is a model of the Food For People outreach. We are looking for ways to be even more community-relevant. |

Position Description |

The intern will be exposed to all aspects of ministry in a rural parish setting including: member visitation, schools involvement, hospital visitation, worship preparation and sermon opportunities, community outreach (homeless and youth), Sunday school class teaching, budget discussions and special events. The intern's own initiative is welcome! |
