Self Introduction

I am a life-long Presbyterian who loves the church and can hardly wait to start doing ministry. I started seminary immediately after graduating from Alma, so I am more than ready to get out and start doing some hands-on thing, rather than just learning about them. I come from a 300 member suburban church, and I have a strong sense of call to serve in a small, rural church, but I would love to work with a church that is different from either of those settings. I have looked forward to doing my internship since I started seminary!

Learning Goals & Areas of Responsibility Desired

I would love to do an internship where I was expected to job shadow the minister, and to do a little bit of everything - from planning worship, to preaching, to working the kids/youth, to making pastoral calls. I think the best way to learn how to do something is by watching it and then actually doing it, and I think ministry is the same in that respect. I want to learn by doing everything involved in ministry that I am allowed to do within the bounds of our polity.
