An Invitation to Join Us: "And, our commitment is to build leaders who can bring God to a broken world in ways that touch people where they are, and help them become who they can be."
~ The Reverend Dr. James L. McDonald
President and Professor of Faith & Public Life

ADDING YOUR PIECE TO THE SFTS MOSAIC

There are myriad avenues and opportunities to share in an SFTS experience with its students, faculty, staff, and partners. And, we are about building an energized, well-connected, outward-looking institution whose faculty and students deliver on our SFTS commitment to engaged, innovative ministry.  Rigorous theological education, spiritual formation, and a thoughtful, caring resolve that builds a vibrant Church and new worshipping communities are at the very core of our mission.

San Francisco Theological Seminary is an integral part ofone of America’s most striking cultural mosaics. Located on 14 scenic acres in San Anselmo, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, SFTS is the only Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) seminary in the West. Grounded in the Reformed tradition, students integrate faith and learning through innovative teaching, excellent scholarship and creative engagement with the practice of ministry. Participating in the ethos of innovation and experimentation that characterizes California’s Bay Area, SFTS is in a unique and remarkable position to make connections and reinvigorate the Church in the midst of rapidly changing and challenging times.

Please accept our invitation to become part of the SFTS Mosaic by giving generously. Your commitment to our Chapter 1: Designing a Mosaic for Ministry fundraising initiative enables our students to acquire the tools they need to serve the Church today and tomorrow. Your gift to the Initiative underwrites scholarship funding, faculty support, certificate programs and online instruction, and numerous other campus services. Your support provides the necessary academic and spiritual tools to deliver care and compassion in every imaginable setting to those they serve.

Blessings and Peace,

Jack Kirkman

Vice President for Advancement & External Relations
