SFTS Interim President Dr. Laird J. Stuart recently announced that the seminary has adopted a new logo. The following message was sent out from the president’s office:

“The logo that we are using for San Francisco Theological Seminary is going to change. The most obvious change will be the deletion of the words “Whole Leaders for the Whole Church”. There are other less obvious changes in the size of the cross and in the fonts to be used in the letters. 

It will take time to make the change complete. There are lots of printed materials, brochures and letterhead, for instance, that we cannot afford to simply discard.  But we can change the electronic logos soon. Over time, the change will be complete.

Changing a logo is an important step for any organization. The suggestion for the change came from the Office of Institutional Advancement.  It was approved by the Administrative Cabinet. I thought it was important for you to know about it.”
