Diploma Programs
- The Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction (January)
Prepares persons for the ministry of contemplative listening for God's action in the lives of individuals, groups and congregations. In addition to year-round supervision, the program includes (3) three-week intensives for three consecutive years in January at SFTS.
- The Diploma in Spiritual Formation Studies (On-going)
Offers pastors and laypersons concentrated, seminary-level studies of Christian spiritual formation for the benefit of their ministries and their own spiritual lives. Course work includes the study of text and contexts, as well as the experiential exploration of Christianity's spiritually formative practices. It requires completion of 24 credits, offered from within the seminary and the Graduate Theological Union, typically over the course of one year.
