An Evening of Poetry with David Glick

December 4, 2017  |  7:00-9:00PM  |  Montague Hall, SFTS

David Glick, psychotherapist, poet, peace and justice activist, will be reading from his recently published book of poetry entitled, Dispatches From The Interior. David worked as a therapist at SFTS for over 30 years, at what was then called the Lloyd Center Counseling Service.

His poetry explores the tenderness of love and the rage and sorrow of injustice and is informed by his belief that there are times spirituality is in need of political awareness just as political awareness is in need of spirituality if each are to reach into those places in our troubled world most in need of healing.

Jazz virtuoso, Schawkie Roth, playing piano, sax, flute, and drums, will accompany David on several of his poems.
